Then at university my music was revolutionised with a small yamaha
keyboard with built-in sequencer - now I could write pop!
With my new toy I recorded an album "Fractions", while
for my studies I built a drum machine from a motorola 68000 processor,
and programmed transputers to play MIDI (it never caught on).

Throughout the 90's I've been writing for stage and theatre, as
well as producing spoken voice recordings, jingles and montages
for use over the phone.
In 2001 I finally got round to entering "Song for Europe",
and was astonished to get into the last 30 in the UK, so I'm hoping
this year's entries will do better!
I'm also a member of the British
Academy of Composers & Song Writers.
I hope you enjoy the files! - nik
